"Grief is like 15,000 pieces of a puzzle scattered on the table, each piece unique to you in every way. You feel like you are at the table trying to put this puzzle together without the lights on and feel washed, weak, and helpless."

With these words, Sherine Anniruth described the sorrow of losing her eldest son, Nadeem. In her book, The ultimate love, she recounted her struggle of coping with the loss of her child while providing readers with guidance to both understand and overcome grief. Within the chapters of the book, Anneruth analyzed the process of anguish following a near person's death.

There are many reasons for me to love this book, even though I didn't live this pain before; however, Anniruth's style of writing was my favorite aspect. The beautiful language she used was emotional and warm, dampening a bereaved person's sorrow. She didn't provide us with a rough, non-fiction book that's filled with unrealistic steps to heal after such a tragic. Anniruth bravely shared her painful experience with the reader. The chapters were vivid and realistic as if she was reminding the reader, with every sentence, that she understands him.

I loved the overall layout of the book. It was divided into neat short chapters. This division allowed the author to deal with different issues one at a time. In these chapters, there were many colorful quotes, which helped in highlighting some of the ideas she mentioned.

What I disliked about this book was the notable repetition it had throughout the chapters of it. I totally understand that Sherine Anniruth Is a mother that lost her child tragically but, some parts of missing and grieving were indeed repeated more than enough. I also think that the cover of the book can be better. By refining it, I am sure it will attract many more people to read this book.

All in all, the book is well written and professionally edited. It didn't contain any trace of profanity or eroticism. For that, I rate it a 4 out of 4. Although I disliked a couple of points about this book, I don't think that they are enough to deduct any score. The book was emotional and helped me to understand grief and feel for other bereaved people. I encourage those who lived the loss of someone near to read this book as it will provide them with guidance and consolation to deal with their sadness.
