Angelic Messenger by Shawn E. Lange is an autobiography of Shawn's life from childhood to his experiences with beings in the other-dimensional worlds.

The author seemed to have a photographic memory. He could recall his experiences at a very young age and painted them so clearly with words. An excellent example would be this:
"During the chaos, the passenger sat crying uncontrollably, blood on his brow. The driver's blood drenched clothes were almost shimmering off his black leather jacket. He was laying there with a gaping hole in the center of his chest, gasping for air as if he was an asthma patient."

The author engaged a fantastic storytelling technique to bring his message to life. This book wasn't only about the author's experiences; he also explained their significance. Additionally, the prophecies in the book offered solutions to specific problems in the society.

I applaud the author's writing skills. According to the biography, he didn't attend college. But his use of literary terms was exceptional. He wrote like one who had gained years of experience in writing. The book was more symbolic than literal. He skillfully used different figurative languages to drive home his points.

I'd also applaud how the author structured the book. The beginning of the book connected with the ending — thus, the narrative flowed seamlessly. Each chapter contributed to the main idea and progressed cohesively alongside the story. The smooth sail I enjoyed in the book fascinated me most.

The author did an excellent job of controlling the tone of the book. As he relayed his experiences, the book's mood aligned with whatever he felt at the time. However, the dominant emotion was sadness; he grieved and regretted losing his family and not being there for his children.

Sadly, I found some of the book's content to be off-putting, especially those that had to do with his visions of angels and heaven. I thought Shawn Lange wrote this book based on mere perception and superstition. I couldn't verify some of the things the author wrote in the book, even with the Bible. The story somehow looked fictional, even though it was a memoir. This was the only thing I disliked about this book.

I only found one error in the book. Therefore, I commend the editors of this book — they did a professional job. I'd give it three out of four stars because of the unverifiable pieces of information the author put in the book. Some parts of the book had sexual elements, abuse, and alcoholism. As such, I wouldn't recommend it to children. But any adult curious and intrigued by supernatural beings and their environments would have a swell time reading the book.
