COVID-19 Is Not An Act Of God: A biblical response to accusations of God's hand in the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic is a non-fiction book written by P.A. Grant. The book gives clarity to the definition of true Christianity. It also dismisses the wrong notion that the 2019/2020 pandemic is an act of God, and backs this dismissal with scriptural references and explanations.

The book begins with fundamental foundations regarding the entity or being called God. It then delves into some important details and things to note concerning the Old and New Testament. Questions people ask regarding horrific events going on in the world in relation to the existence of God is also addressed. Most importantly, it explains why the pandemic couldn’t have ever come from God. There are also several topics this book addresses to help the reader (believer or non-believer) have a deep understanding of Christianity. Grab a copy of this book to get an insight into what Christianity truly entails.

This book really got my attention and I’m glad I read it. When I first saw the title, I thought it was one of those books claiming that the COVID-19 pandemic was some sort of punishment from God. But, when I saw that it was actually written to dismiss such a notion, I was intrigued. The author did a very wonderful job of organizing her thoughts and topics. I love how it began with foundational topics and discussions, this helps the reader to have a better understanding of what he/she is delving into. I also love the way the author stayed focused on the main message she was trying to pass on to the reader. Some books I’ve read concerning the pandemic in relation to Christianity always ended up apportioning blames to one conspiracy theory or the other, but that wasn’t the case here.

There was nothing to dislike about this book. The author made understanding very easy by providing a concise summary at the end of chapter one to four. The book was also very concise with the main details brought out instead of beating around the bush. The author also did a great job proving her points by backing it up with scriptural references. Another thing I like about the book is that it doesn’t only dismiss the wrong notion associating God with COVID-19, it also helps the reader understand Christianity better. I can assure you that anyone (Christian or non-believer) who reads this book with an open mind will be able to make sense of all the topics discussed.

I only found a few errors in the book which shows that it was professionally edited. The structuring was great. It was divided into chapters and the pages were numbered. The author was also able to explain why she believes that COVID-19 is not an act of God, so I’m rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend this book to Christians in need to strengthen their faith and anyone interested in understanding Christianity better.

Interesting book. I like that the author tries to address the age old problem of evil and the existence of God through using the example of the COVID pandemic. Nice review thanks.

If this is an act of God then, I guess all diseases are. Well, people who believe such are non Christians and do not understand that the ploy of the enemy is to take as many lives as possible to hell. Thank you for reading and reviewing this amazing book. I most definitely would read it too

The title of this book is very irresistible. I've equally heard a lot of conclusions on this issue, I chose to sit on the fence because I feel I lack the knowledge to draw a verdict on such matters. You have an interesting review.
