"The Death of Santini" by Pat Conroy

Post by Loveabull »

I just skimmed this in the library today but I am going to read it. I remember reading "The Great Santini" many times over as a kid. Actually Pat's father revealed himself in several books. In this book he recalls his Dad saying something like " Great, in this book I'm an angry drunk...". The character of Bull Meecham sounds like one of the most direct characters. It doesn't sound like Dad was too offended. There are pictures of him at book signings. This sounds like a really fascinating book.
