Review by Tiantian02- -- The Cadence of Excellence
Matthew McDarby empowers the importance of organizational management in "The Cadence of Excellence": Key Habits of Effective Sales Managers. The author divides the book into two parts; inwardly and outwardly focused tasks. The first five chapters consisted of inwardly focused tasks stress the things sales managers need to do for themselves while the last five chapters offer key ideas on how managers would be able to interact and manage their team effectively. Moreover, the book provides a sales leadership excellence planner that will enable sales managers to arrive at realizations that will help them to fully grasp the ideas and apply them in their organizations.
At the advent of every chapter, a dilemma is being given to illustrate the core idea that will be discussed. This representation helps readers to effectively visualize the practicality of the ideas. I love how the author gives prominence to simple yet powerful notions that organizations encounter in their daily operations. One of the key features of this book that made me hooked on it is the idea of influencing people by asking questions until they arrive at the conclusion you want them to realize.
I also love the fact that this book underlines the true essence of being a salesperson through an internal evaluation of the organizational structure and its core elements. I believe the target market doesn't limit only to managers but also to people of any field as it gives comprehensive yet simplified terms for easy understanding. The writing style used by the author makes the book easy to understand and also available to a wide range of audiences. I would like also to bring out the flexibility of ideas in this book as it can also be applied in all aspects.
The writer successfully made me excited as I read because of the flow or how the nature of the central idea of every chapter is grown. Throughout my reading, the descriptive method of terms and situations help me to understand the concept being given. I am very amazed at the fact that the given ideas started from the self-improvement of a manager and it grows gradually as the chapter goes on to be a confident and effective coach of the organization.
I've seen no mistakes in spelling and grammar that this appears to be professionally edited. There is nothing for me to dislike in the book. For all the learnings, realizations, and positive feedback I've shared here, it is clear that it deserves a perfect rating. Therefore, I'm satisfied to rate the book 4 out of 4 stars.
I would recommend this book to all the managers out there of any field as it will help them to effectively set their teams on the path of achieving their goals and establishing the true value of their organization. There are no vulgar or erotic scenes for it only focuses on the organizational circumstances of a business or company. This is an educational piece that can also contribute to those who seek knowledge about leadership and group management.
