Review by emidio125 -- Winning the War on Cancer
Winning the War on Cancer by Sylvie Beljanski. In this book, Sylvie Beljanski firstly aims to honor his late father, who was the inventor of a natural miraculous extract made of two plants (Pao Pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria) that proved very effective in the treatment of a variety of cancers and other diseases. And to honor her father she decided to continue her father's work and continue to help people win the battle against cancer.
Sylvie starts by narrating the story of her father, Mirko Beljanski, Ph.D. in molecular biology who after years of research found that plant extracts (Pao Pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria) were very effective in combating cancer cells. And so, he went on to help cancer patients. One of those patients was the former French President François Mitterrand, who was suffering from terminal prostate cancer. However, when the president's health improved, Mirko Beljanski gained attention from certain political figures who saw his natural extracts as a threat to the drugs already established by the government for cancer treatment, and he began to be pursued until his death. Later on, her daughter, who is the writer of this book, decided to carry on her father's legacy. However, it wasn't easy either. Find out why reading this book to the end.
This book was written to be as credible as possible. And for that, I congratulate the author. In the world where we live, it is very common to see people selling products which provide a river of usefulness when in reality, all they are looking for is money. And people end up spending the little money they have on scams and frauds. But I believe that this is not the case with this book. The author has spared no effort to present enough evidence to prove that the treatment she proposes really works. The book also exposed the hidden deeds performed by the pharmaceutical companies and the government, who put profits above the wellbeing of the patients.
This book was edited in a very professional way. all book chapters begin with an inspirational phrase, which makes this book inspirational, motivational, and instructional at the same time. It is a book that conveys hope, and I recommend it to anyone, whether they are cancer patients or not, I believe the information in this book will be useful for everyone since it is possible that even if we do not suffer from cancer, we may have family members or friends who struggle against this disease.
Regarding the negative points of the book, there is nothing that I did not like. However, I felt that the comma was overused in some situations. I only found two errors, and they were not enough to make me give this book less than 4 out of 4 stars .
