At first, I was nervous before I started reading The Cadence of Excellence: Key Habits of Effective Sales Management, but after reading the stories of Matthew McDarby and his friends/coworkers and seeing how they developed special habits to work in sales management I truly feel a bit more confident and I can’t wait to get to work with these new skills in mind.

I truly appreciate how this book is able to explain these workplace habits with stories from real people and explain how they used them. It truly makes the lessons interesting and prevents the book from having a bland tone and keeps my attention which is great for a person on the Autism Spectrum like me.

Hopefully, once COVID-19 passes, reopening businesses will look at this book for advice on how to recover from this recession.

If I had to criticize anything about this book, it's that the PDF format doesn't work well on my phone and Kindle app. The font is really small and hard to read but when I make it bigger I am unable to turn the pages. But other than that, it's a good book.

As a college student looking for work and hoping to start a business in the future, I am truly thankful for this book and its lessons on how to be not only successful in business, but also socially good with your coworkers. I give this book a 4 out of 4.
