As a child, I always desired to create spectacular Easter egg designs. I wished to make eggs entirely different from what every other person made. Unfortunately, I always ended up with terrible designs. Not because I couldn't paint well, rather I had nothing spectacular to copy. This book by Maya Elston made me wish I could turn back the hands of time. Eggstravagant Easter Eggs is a very informative book for painting Easter Eggs. Reading this book, I learned beyond painting Easter Eggs. I understood the history of Easter Eggs, the different cultural meanings, and their different artistic representations.

One of the amazing things I liked about this book is how descriptive the author is. First, each chapter starts with illustrations of the final result when her instructions are followed. This writing approach is less boring. Also, it makes one look forward to painting. Another beautiful fact I like is the variety of ideas one can explore. All you need to do is get your materials and become creative. There are a lot of impressive ideas for any lover of egg decoration.

Another fact I like is that this book is written by an artist. Only an artist can give the beautiful ideas in this book. Maya Elston is greatly skilled. If you need new ideas, then this book is your best bet. You would say goodbye to boring egg designs and welcome the most original and distinctive designs. Every part of this book piqued my interest, and I found nothing to dislike.

If coloring eggs is your hobby, then this book is for you. Adults who love crafts would also enjoy using this book to create colorful Easter eggs. The easy-to-follow instructions are simple enough for ordinary people to follow. Also, if you need fresh decorations ideas, get this book. You will see different ideas that will inspire your imagination for creative egg decorations.

I rate this book four out of four stars because of the author's creative writing style. The use of illustrations to further buttress her instructions is one of a kind. There are a few books that apply this style of writing. I couldn't rate it lower because I found every bit of it interesting. From the pictures to the creative themes, this book is inspiring. Also, any ordinary person would be encouraged to paint after seeing her attached result for each idea. This book is exceptionally edited as I found no errors in it.

This sounds like a fun project for someone who likes to paint Easter eggs. However, I don't think it is for me. Thanks for your wonderful review!

From your enthusiastic descriptions of the artists illustrations, this sounds like a book of beauty that I would enjoy purely to admire the illustrations. Even if I didn't get around to doing any egg painting myself, I think I would enjoy a relaxing browse through this book.

Thanks for the review.
