2020 was the year of COVID-19 and sociopolitical uncertainty. With so many nations facing economic turmoil, The Wealth 2021 is a book that promises to guide you on the road to attaining wealth. Within a 175-page book, the author, Valentin Luboya, enlightened the reader on how to attain financial freedom.

The author highlighted the emergence of new opportunities for creating wealth different from conventional tedious jobs. He explained the three keys needed to attract wealth. His core message focuses on the rise of internet-based businesses and how people can benefit from today's technology platforms. The author also explored other areas like healthy exercise, money management, taking control of our mindset, and many more. With the infrastructure of behemoths like Amazon, he showed the reader how he/she could sell anything (physical and digital) on Amazon Marketplace. He concluded the book by giving a detailed guideline on running other Amazon businesses like Amazon Flex.

I like the specific paths to creating an online business outlined. They are viable means of securing extra income for anybody willing to master the skills required. Each approach was also clearly stated, and the use of listing strategies made it more readable. I also like the summary-cum-action points included at the end of Chapter 1.

There are some things I did not like about the book. There were excessive unnecessary and outrightly irrelevant digressions for every viable wealth creation mechanism explained. At various points, I wondered whether the book was supposed to be an autobiography or a work that should explain business ideas, strategy, and execution. Irrelevant details about the author's personal life (like his wife's weight, sleeping habit, and romantic involvement with an ex-wife) pervaded the book at multiple points. Also, there were repetitions of statements. I guess it was because the author was more philosophical than focusing on the message. For these reasons, I am rating the book 3 out of 4 stars. Other than that, I enjoyed every other thing about the book.

I recommend this book to all technology-inclined and internet-savvy persons. Also, the book will appeal to people who are interested in earning extra income. The internet is truly a gigantic economic machine, and we have barely started to scratch the surface. As Valentin Luboya noted in the book, “the world’s billionaires’ population is increasingly coming from the internet and other technology-compliant businesses.” I expect everyone to participate in this arena. On a final note, the book is well edited because I notice only a few errors, which did not hinder my reading experience.

Jobs have always been the riskiest way to make money and with the increased unemployment due to economic backslide in 2020 more and more people can now see why and are looking for alternatives to earning a living without completely depending on job security.

I am also keen on reading books about financial advice. I can do without the authors' inserts about his personal life, but for the most part, I think this could be an interesting read. Thanks for the recommendation. I enjoyed reading your insightful review!

I do not like books about wealth creation, but with the ongoing pandemic in the world, I definitely would love to know how I can make a comeback from the financial crisis I and many others are experiencing.

Amazon Marketplace sounds like a good place to sell my work, so this would be a useful read for me. I will check it out. Thank you for your review.
