Divine Simplicity Day Three ...Unity in the Community is the Day Three of the Divine Simplicity series book. This book can be read alone without the need to first read the other previous two books in the series. This literature is a non- fiction piece where Yasher Echad El discloses many truth as he puts it, of this world that we live in. This book reveals truth that are obviously placed before us in the movies/TV we see, music/songs we listen to and other social media. Before he began raising truth/issues, in the Preamble pages of the book, the author‘s discussion was on ‘Parenting tool kit ‘, even when his stand is that parenting does not come with a guide. This serves as some sort of guide and exercises for parents and parents-to-be.

Some of the truth/issues he raised is the different types of holiday celebrated – he urged us to discover the reason(s) behind the celebrations before we can indulge in them. He mentioned ‘’they’’ on many occasion especially in relation to the controlling of the media to enable them disseminate the message they want to pass onto the masses. Transgender was another truth or issue he discussed at length giving examples of notable celebrities and questioning the circumstances surrounding their lives. I urge you to get a copy of this book and read the detailed revelations therein - there are so many truth revealed, I have questioned some assertions after reading this book. Another interesting truth revealed is the use of TV to programme people’s mind in 1940 as he can state for a fact. He made mention of getting the deep or inner meaning of everything, which he says are freely passed to us by entertainers, actors/actresses in some songs or movies. He did not leave out the issue of racism and the other color fight in existence.

Yasher Echad El made use of quotations at the end of a discussion to summarize the issue therein. He also used bible quotations, mainly the Jewish version, wherein he wrote the books of the bible in Jewish. As you read along, you will note the author's unique writing style whereby, while discussing an issue, he takes the readers along by asking them direct hitting questions that drags their attention or rather involve them in the topic of discussion.

There are so many things to like about this book but my favorite is where the author advised us to read so as to gain knowledge not just for ourselves but to pass on to our children. Like the saying goes’’ You don’t give what you don’t have. ‘’ The whole situation sums to look like another saying which states ‘’Urchin begat Urchin’’. I also like the part of the book(preamble pages) where the author made himself accessible to readers by urging them to practice and write feedback to him on his Instagram and Facebook page. As I read the book, I took down notes of list of movies (he mentioned a lot) that I haven’t seen just so I could see them and better answer the questions he asked. One thing I found funny in this book is, when the author mentioned a rapper who goes by the name ''Dababy'' (this rapper actually surfaced after the era of Tupac Shakur) who goes on stage wearing a diaper-just imagine that.

I will gladly rate this book four out of four stars, even though there were a few profanities found in it. However, they were not the author's words, but rather quotations by someone or titles he made reference to and without which, in my own opinion, he cannot drive home his point. The errors found in this book were minor and a handful. This did not in any way distract me from getting the message nor my enjoyment of the book. Thus, I would like to recommend this book to anyone who want to broaden their horizon and develop their vocabulary. Those looking for answers to some of life issues can also pick up this book.
