Today the world is facing numerous problems, ranging from health issues like Covid-19, global warming, and an increase in poverty rates to issues concerning racial discrimination. With all of these happening in the world, Coach Michael Taylor, an entrepreneur and motivational speaker, poses the question, "Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the future?" It's tough to look at the glass as half full in these times, but that is the premise upon which his book, The Good News Is, The Future Is Brighter Than You Think, is based. He points out that the fact that you picked up this book means that you are optimistic with regard to the question posed.

The author not only points out different reasons there are hopes of a brighter future but also coaches us on how we can achieve that future by developing ourselves personally and collectively. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and I got to learn a lot while I was fully immersed in its pages. Coach Michael Taylor's ability to break down his message into its simplest form and dish it straightforwardly and in a conversational tone meant that it was easy for the contents of the book to hit home. This was my favorite aspect of the book, and it set the tone for what would go on to become an enlightening experience.

From this book, readers stand to gain several keys to self-development, including a full understanding of divine intelligence and energy that is bound to influence the way they think. We also get thorough lessons on knowing ourselves beyond labels, tips to maintaining good health, and 10 keys to creating healthy relationships. The author also touches on the difference between spirituality and religion, which some readers may find controversial but not offensive. In fact, he passes his message keeping in mind that there is no right or wrong answer, but we just have to be honest with ourselves.

Also, his life experiences are employed in detail to show us practical applications of his lessons. One part of his story that I found easy to relate to was his mother leaving him at a young age and how it forced him to develop an attitude of being overly nice due to the fear of abandonment. He also details the events through his divorce and the depression he suffered as a result. Entwined with his stories are intriguing metaphors that make complex lessons appear simple to grasp as well.

Since I did not find any grammatical or typographical errors while reading through the text, I consider The Good News Is, The Future Is Brighter Than You Think to be an exceptionally well-edited book.

Overall, the book is enlightening and entertaining. Coach Michael Taylor also shows us reasons the world is already better than it was in the past, backed up by facts, especially concerning technological advancements. I am looking forward to more of the author's works too. For its perfect execution and relevant message, I rate this book four out of four stars. There was nothing I disliked about the book. Readers who enjoy books on self-discovery and self-development will greatly benefit from the contents of this piece.

It is difficult to find positivity these days, especially with so much going on in the world today. Based on your review, I think that this would be a great book for me to read. Thanks for the review! :)
