“What type of standards do you have for your business? Will your standards be set high? Will you be a blessing from the blessing to others?” These are the questions possessed and explored in Irene Jones’ book, 10 Little Spiritual Nuggets on Business. Jones’s book is a very short, 13-page text that contains advice, prayers, and scriptures that revolve around Christian business ownership. The book has readers think about their business and faith and explores the fundamental connections between these concepts. Jones argues that Christian principles are necessary for running a successful business and elaborated on the concepts and thoughts needed to be successful. It provides ten specific ideas for readers to understand and then incorporates scriptures and prayers within these topics. It explores ideas such as wisdom, intent, character, and faith.

I like that this book pairs each of the ten ideas presented with a verse from the Bible and an associated prayer. This gives Jones’ book a very tangible aspect that shows readers a direct route for applying the advice given in 10 Little Spiritual Nuggets on Business. It shows readers how to directly incorporate Jones' advice into daily practices and mindsets. Jones also uses questions effectively to help readers apply the advice and thinking to their own life and business. It has people bring to mind their business and envision the intent it has and the changes that could be made. I think this is effective in benefiting people and their business endeavors.

I thought the book could have been a little longer and included some more personal advice from Irene Jones. I appreciate that 10 Little Spiritual Nuggets on Business is meant to be a succinct text, but I felt like a few more pages given to each of the topics would have improved the overall effect of the book. These were the only aspects I dislike about the book and I thought the text, in general, was well done.

I would give 10 Little Spiritual Nuggets on Business by Irene Jones a three out of four-star rating. I believe this book effectively accomplishes what it sets out to do, and offers tangible advice for those hoping to apply biblical principles into their business. The book addresses major principles for readers to consider and offers steps to help readers incorporate the ideas into their business in practical ways. I also think that this book was effectively edited and contains no noticeable spelling or grammatical errors. I did not give this book a four-star rating because I thought that the advice given could be further developed and a little more length could be added to provide further clarity and information.

This book is specifically targeted at people of a Christian belief system and I would only recommend it to people of this religion. I would recommend this book to Christian business owners or Christian people who aspire to own a business. 10 Little Spiritual Nuggets on Business gives a perfect study and prayer guide to those looking to found and improve their business using biblical tenets.

I am always afraid that these how-to books are full of clichés and advice that are far away from reality. Although this doesn't seem to be happening here I do not favour the fact that no personal advice is in there; it's a good hint that probably the book contains some general clichés. Thanks for a great insight!

It is hard to steer away from broad overdone advice without including more personal elements. Thank you for your perspective and for stopping by!

Firstly, the book is short. That gives me the impression that it is direct and the author has only included beneficial information in the book. I will definitely be reading this one. Informative review!

I am glad to read that the book offers concise steps to take in achieving the advice shared. I find such books much easier to absorb than those that live it up to the reader to take action. Thank you for your review!
