Your Baby’s First Year is a new parents guide to baby first year. The book begins with guidelines on what to do right before baby is born. The book ends with an appendix A through I. Baby’s First Year tells of your baby’s growth week by week. Milestones which can let you know where your baby need to be. Signs that can help you know when baby is developing right or may have some problems. Take to mind that the book idicates that all babies are different. Each week explore the possibilites of what your baby can accomplish through social,emotional,intellectual, and physical skills.How to feed your baby is one of the topics. It tells of ways to feed baby such as infant formula or breastfeeding to solid foods. The book shows you how to involve yourself in infant bonding and play time. Common medical problems and vaccinations are another topic discussed. They even have a vaccination time line along with doctor appointment expections. After certain sections it tells you when to call the doctor or if it is normal. The book lets you know about baby gear for each month and how to use it . The appendix is made up of certain topics disccused in depth such as of premature babies, breast feeding, ect.
Baby’s First Year is wrote from narrative prospective. It also seperates in sections and lists. It is a very helpful book that depicts myth from truth. Any new parent would enjoy or even a parent that has children before and needs a refresher. This book is easy to understand. The questions you think are unreasonable to ask the doctor, could be answered in this book. Things you would never think of or even ask yorself are enlighted. Women have been giving birth to children since the beginning of time so it is nice to have some help understanding things.
