Unchecked Capitalism is Killing Us by Earl B. Rynerson.
This book offers a big-picture view of how all sectors within the United States are sick: health, industry, jobs, and purchasing power, and poor infrastructure across the country....etc, and it presents the domination of large corporations and special interest groups, lobbyists over all of these sectors driven by greed, quest for profits.
The book reviews the historical transformations of the influence of these companies through two stages: the first is represented by the existence of strict and organized laws that pushed these companies to work for the benefit of the American nation
And the second stage: is the penetration of corrupt money into politics and the legislative authority, which led to these companies and special interest groups, lobbyists controlling the joints of the United States of America in the absence of regulatory laws, which damaged the environment, health and the industry because they only think of themselves.
The author also presents, throughout the book's chapters, possible solutions for improving the daily life of the American citizen.
It is one of the best books I have ever read because it simply changed my outlook on life, and explained to me how political life works and how money is the main role in it.
This was for personal experience, but as for the book as a material thing, it is written in a very good way and its language is simple and smooth to understand. It is divided and organized into several chapters in which he put the most important headlines, in addition to that it is full of important information, where the author explains in sequence the historical stages of the phenomenon studied into Today, and this is among the reasons that made me admire him, in addition to what I have mentioned above.
I recommend this book to every American citizen who feels that there is something wrong with the policy of his country, such as high prices for foodstuffs, poor health care, the deterioration of the country's economy, the increase in poverty and illegal immigration, adding the causes of natural phenomena such as climate change around us and the rapid spread of Corona disease.
As for the evaluation of the book, I give this book 4 out of 4 due to the psychological impact that this book left on me, as it is a real start to study the things proposed by the author.
