Let's Help You Self Help is an inspirational self help book that was written by Anthony Jacob Braaten passionately. The book is intended to address various personal issues regarding the crisis of confidence in life, and the art of managing the mind and emotions through the new mindset method of application. In this book, Anthony Jacob formulates twelve skills to manage mindset in a positive way. They consist of willpower, love, gratitude, forgiveness, kindness, exploration, adaptation, limitation, expression, creativity, contribution, and last passion. Along with these subtle motivations and brief questions concerning the twelve skills, readers are invited to absorb their minds by pondering and writing down what is still a hindrance to them, or simply to offer opinions on each of the skills discussed.

The book consists of twelve portions that are briefly packed, personal and meaningful. It provides many examples of self help and is written based on the writer's own experience. At the end of each chapter, the writer also inserts interesting motivation quotes and facts that inspire and arouse interest. The exposition in the book is also smooth that it has, therefore it had a measure of success in giving the impression of personal touch.

Since I like a big theme in a book like this, it doesn't take me long to finish. I found it helpful with this book. Learning a new perspective on tackling every problem is what matters most to people who get tired of socializing like me. I enjoyed every part of the book, as well as my personal responses to the questions the writer asks for every chapter. I feel by answering those questions, the void inside me is a little less. This book not only allows me to practice my emotions in a positive direction, it also allows me to recognize myself more. This book heightened my awareness of the essence of life. There are so many meaningful things that we are often not grateful for, simply because we continue to feel less and less than others.

I feel that the book was professionally edited. The book is written in concise and easy to read sentences that can be understood well by foreign readers. There was nothing that I disliked about the book. I found this book inspiring, motivating and helpful. I read this book to the end and feel relieved. Therefore, I'm giving Let's Help You Self Help, four out of four stars.

This book will be fitting for those who are struggling to find peace in life, especially those who tire out in social activities, tend to think negativity and sensitive. This book would not be a good choice for those who are overly competitive and hasty.
