Review of Unchecked capitalism is killing us!
Unchecked Capitalism Is Killing Us written by Earl B.Rynerson introduces the readers about the fallout of unregulated Capitalism has cause exploitation to the citizens of America. How the greed and corruptions of big companies corporates, politicians and wealthy elites of the society are turning the national economy into debt with their manipulative control have been highlighted in this book through various chapters by the author explained explicitly with reports.Earl with his careful observations and experiences has focused how various section of the companies like banking, health care, oil and gas, defense, food and sugar have turn against the favor of the common people and gaining profits is their only motive. This book gives the remainder to the American citizens to start an action for their own rights and the damage done to the country.
Earl Rynerson exposes how the involvement of lobbying groups and big
corporates into the politics has gain them power to take control from making
regulations in the market to electing officials from their groups. The true
democracy of the America has been puppet by capitalism which no longer belongs to the people. The greed corporates and private companies are nowhere paying taxes at all for example the “Tax Reform Measure” of 2017. The increasing greed of these corporates has degraded the environment and the life of Americans from proper access to health, medicine, lifestyle leading to obesity and failing control over the present conditions of covid-19.
The positive aspects that attracts me most is that the language is written in very simplified manner,a very though investigated information collected by the author highlighting him as a specialist person. The words he chose to express to the readers gives a sense of feeling of patriotism also Earl from his book chapter called “Solutions” identify how this corruptions and greed of corporates and lobbying companies can be brought to an end through four types of activities and how the bringing of a new ideology political group can change the fate of the American people.
Though every events and consequences mentioned in the book by the author are
referenced with supporting reports are captivating, but the use of repetitively
reports in every sentences can cause some sort of delay enthusiasm in reading for most readers. As a reader I find this can be a slight negative aspects. The author should have given necessary references in the sentences wherever needed.
In spite of this I found this book is professionally well written and edited and I didn’t found any typos or grammar mistakes in the sentences, so I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend this book to every American dwellers and to those which has a keen interest on American politics and capitalism.
