y? by R.BVOS (non de plume) is an 'encyclopedia' on contemporary social, cultural, and health issues facing individuals, groups, society, and the world. It is a detailed take on loss, fear, anxiety, love, gender, sex, work, stress, and many more topics. It emphasizes the way out and healing, with step-by-step guidelines on how to effect constructive changes in our daily struggles to survive in a fast-paced world. y? is a self-help book that is written with love and understanding. It offers compassion and succor to the weary, speaks to survivors' pain, and emphasizes our uniqueness and assured place in the universe.

The areas covered by this book are extensive, and it is evident that the author has done due diligence in the research and construction of this book. There is a topic that speaks to each reader. We all are humans with feelings, needs, and wants. We all belong to families, have formed relationships, and have made mistakes. We do have our dreams and worries and our beliefs and doubts. We all crave love, to be seen and appreciated, and have all faced life's challenges. Perhaps, we are still holding on to the hurt of the past; our experiences may mar our present, but the future can be molded. This book helps with this molding; by understanding, knowing the whys and the hows, and knowing the consequences, we can be positioned to make better choices.

This book is refreshing in its uniqueness and approach; it doesn't read like the conventional book. It contains short meaningful phrases that go straight to the point without losing the message it is trying to pass. The author's advice not to read this book at a go is apt. Readers should choose topics they will like to know about and read them with rapt attention. This is because each topic has a lot going on within its few pages. In essence, the topics covered are vast but have been compressed into this book. The author did an excellent job in this regard. However, attempting to read this book at a go will be overwhelming and possibly counter-productive.

The author has emphasized that the unconventional nature of the book is deliberate. However, it takes a while to get used to some sentence structures in this book. For example, on Page 50, a sentence reads thus: "Past has trained they will suffer if speak up." It took several readings to understand what was being said. But once the reader gets the hang of it, it becomes much more manageable. Although I found a few errors in this book, the organization and detailed nature point to laudable editing work.

I will recommend this book to readers facing challenges in their daily lives or struggling with their past experiences specifically. The information therein is helpful and covers steps, guidelines, and motivational quotes to help with life challenges. However, I believe everyone will find something meaningful in this book. I rate y? 4 out of 4 stars. It is a practical guide to life in the 21st century, and it is enlightening in its approach to modern-day problems.

This sounds like an engaging and helpful book. The writing style sounds unique and creative, although I wonder what the author's reasoning is for using such an unconventional sentence structure. I might give this one a try. Thanks for the review!
