Unchecked capitalism is killing us, by Earl B. Rynerson is a book that gives us the behind-the-scenes view of the actual reasons for the various policies and programmes carried out by the government of America. It explains how the government officials are being corrupted by the lobbyists for corporate interests, which ultimately caused and is still causing the downfall of America. It gives us a clear picture of how "lowering corporate taxes and regulations mantra" of some corrupted government officials can destroy the country.

Though it is an educational book, the author has used a simple and understandable language unlike the other sophisticated and complicated educational books. He has also added a huge amount of evidence and words of some eminent people to support his statements. He has described the actual cause and effects of various policies of the government. He has stated and explained very well how the government is no more working for the people and it is only working "for CORPORATIONS, by CORPORATIONS and of CORPORATIONS.”

But one thing to mention here is that the book is entirely based on capitalism in "America" so there are many terms and events that non-American people might not understand or relate to. Other than this, I think that the book is very well written.

I would give this book a 4 out of 4 rating. Personally,I always read people thanking capitalism for all the growth of technology and other advances of humanity and surely capitalism has helped a lot in that but this book explains that how "unchecked" capitalism can lead or I would rather say is leading to the downfall of an entire country. This book talks about things that weren't brought into people's notice. The author has not only mentioned the problems but also the solutions of the problems in the last chapter.

I would recommend this book to people from all age groups and especially to the voters so that they would think twice before voting their representative. I hope you can enjoy the book and learn something like I did.
