Most definitely. IQ only goes so far, person to person interactions in the work place are just as important.

Emotional intelligence represents the capacity of man to take right decision at right time based on skills, knowledge, self regulation as well as empathy. Thanks for excellent review. EQ is as important as IQ not only in the businesses but also in Public Services. This book can be a good read for the new entrepreneurs, civil servants and students who are dreaming to achieve greater heights in future.

This one is a great read I heard about this book from one of my professors in business school. Since then I’ve been interested in how our minds work. It is true, EQ should be highlighted more the same with IQ in the business world. Balance is critical in our everyday work interactions, being aware of our limitations on emotion is one of the most important aspects that would steer our careers forward.

I've always felt that our EQ was just as important as IQ. I do agree that it would have been great if the author did include scientific findings to support his claims but it does sound like a good read nonetheless. Thanks for the review.

Emotional intelligence is often overlooked in most self-help books. This book strips out this particular niche and explains it in detail. I will read this amazing book at least twice.

I've always been of the opinion that in addition to logic, emotional intelligence makes a great business man. Knowing how to apply your emotional intelligence is also required. I'll be checking out this book. Thank you for your review.

Thanks for writing this review! I definitely agree with you when you mention that people underestimate the importance of emotional intelligence in business. People tend to be so focused on the logical aspect of things that they forget how emotions can create the biggest decisions in one's business life. 100% interested in reading this book on a deeper level

This is a philosophical educational non-fiction book highlighting emotional intelligence and how it affects our decisions in life mainly business. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a masterfully crafted OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD.
