In the book Leadership author has described the qualities leaders should have or not just the qualities a leader should have but the qualities a should not have too and how to make a team of different people one unit. The author of this book Craig B.Whelden has talked about leadership through his experiences as a leader and what he observed and learned from other leaders or his superiors and of course is passing down his legacies as he wanted to, to his reader. The author was in the army before so all his experiences are based on what he has done in his field but his experiences are not only for the army personnel they can be applied in the other sector too, and not only the leaders but for anyone else who is willing to be better than they are now, can learn from his experiences and the lesson he passed down to other.
As an overview, the lessons he describes are about how to manage our priorities, how to not only keep the team together but to focus on the members as an individual too, how high our goals should be along with our inner peace please note that with this he does not mean to set low expectations or low goals at all and many more qualities or lessons he has discussed.
The reason that I chose this book was to work on my growth, to be better than I am. As I said before that anyone wants to learn leadership skills in any sector or someone working on their growth, I recommend this book to them.
About the positive aspect of this book, rather than keeping it serious, the author added some humor in some of his stories too. Well, his way of describing is not serious it is just as if person-to-person communication.
about the negative aspect well there is not much, but according to me, I found that when he was mentioned his colleagues, superiors and mentioning some other particulars it was like I should just skip through it but that does not make it uninteresting or any less. So I will give this book a4 out 4 stars. The book was well edited
