Review: The Power of Fear by Raven Heidrich

Post by chstress »

The Power of Fear: A Guide for Women to Anticipate Predict and Prevent Violent Behavior is a very good book for surviving, and most importantly preventing, violent encounters. For me it serves as a reminder that love should not hurt and other information that helps woman avoid and or get out of abusive relationships. Raven Heidrich’s book is well written and she provides a vast depth of information that was well articulated. This is a really good read with insightful details about fear and trusting our intuition. Moreover, the information given in the book is extremely useful especially to those of us who have escaped an abusive situation. It is the ultimate in self defense and will help you survive and get through just about any violent situation or attack. I especially liked the simple, approach to help potential and current victims recognize the danger signs, and to find the resolutions to the stop the destructive process, and how to take effective action to live a full, free life. Three cheers to her for a job well done.
