How healthy,delicious, and simple, Nikky Hyde makes the Paleo Diet sound. Hyde successfully demonstrates how, eating satisfying yet lean meats and fish, fresh fruits, snacks, and non-starchy vegetables, will allow you to lose 125 lbs. It is a well-thought out, nuanced approach to a healthy way of eating; although a bit different then the usual diets out there today. This particular diet mimics the nutritional characteristics of the food groups that our Paleolithic ancestors ate. This book has a lot of good insightful info, and it seems to me that their was a lot of research behind it. I am thoroughly inspired by her knowledge and understanding and I was completely memorized by Charlotteās inspirational story. I have been attempting to control my weight for years and this sounds like a program I could live with. My mom has been telling me for years: protein for breakfast, salad and a little protein for lunch, light on the carbs, small dinner; guess she was correct after all. I am definitely going to give this a try.
