Review: I Am Sorry I Cheated by Melissa Razo

Post by chstress »

Long ago, my husband cheated on me, and I wish that I had this simple straightforward book to guide me through all the pain and hurt. At first I suspected he was having an affair but I really did not know how to confirm it. “I’m Sorry I Cheated” by Melissa Razo did just that. She explains exactly what to do step by step through 7 chapters. From out- lying the liar, to signs and even spying on your spouse. Yes, I can also attest that discovery of your partners affair can conjure up thoughts and feelings I never knew I was capable of. Only someone who has experienced this ultimate betrayal of trust can truly appreciate the range of potentially devastating emotions you go through and this author realizes that. Razo’s book can certainly help anyone in this predicament and help fix what’s broken. She does this by her helpful words and quells those crazy thoughts and feelings. Furthermore she instructs the reader in exactly how to deal with everything. Razo successfully takes the reader from that very first confrontation to figuring out whether to work on saving your marriage or just walking away. I of course choose my marriage and it’s been 43 years. I won’t mince words but it was hard and painful and took years. Had this book been available back then, I believe it would have made our journey to bring healing back into our relationship much easier.
