The book Idioms attack- everyday living volume one (French version) is written by peter N. Liptak, Jay Douma and Matthew Douma. It is translated by Marie-odile Kippen and it especially contains North American or American idioms that readers can use in everyday life. This book especially works for foreigner speakers who speak French and get really confused with English idioms by reading the French meaning.

I am a fan of books in English and a little of books in French, but this book is very helpful tool that helped me in both my English and French reading. Translating idioms in English to French is hard and understanding idioms that I have never heard before s very tricky yet helpful. The goal of idiom attack- Everyday living volume one was well executed, because it makes translating and understanding idioms much easier for me and all French speaker who is learning English. I enjoyed this book especially because, I could find any idiom that I was looking for and even ones that I have never heard or used before.

I had not understood all of the French translations but, this book helped me understand and learn where and how to use idioms. The questions were helpful in the case where I did not know to use idioms in sentences. In addition, I liked the fact that the book does not use difficult words to explain idioms, it used simple, easy and understandable common French words. I can use this word at school, at home even at workplace. The cover of the book was simple but attractive and instructive.

After reading the whole book, I believe that it deserves a beautiful rating. Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book contained activities that improved my knowledge of idioms, and it was easy and fun to learn it in both languages. Overall, it was amazing to read and helpful.

I recommend this book to people or readers who want to improve their reading experiences since idioms are used in almost every book. Idioms are tricky because if you translate them wrongly, you could change the whole meaning of the sentence. They are especially hard to French speakers since most of idiom sounds or interpreted differently in French. Therefore, I strongly recommend this book for student readers who are learning or want to improve their English. I really loved the book and I hope it helps others the way it helped me.
