Review of Riding in the Backseat with my Brother

Riding in the Backseat With My Brother by Judi Blaze is a book about life experience as much as it is about traveling. It is a story about a family to whom traveling is like breathing fresh air. It is almost like a memoir from a very young member of a family of Irish traveler's lineage, while some might also call them gypsies, as they moved from country to country in the 20th century. The narrator's family members included a father who was consumed with a strong desire to travel, a mother who gave away her third child after birth, and a brother. It is safe to say that the change of locations was their only constant.
This book was not just excellently well written, but it also touched my heart of memories. This book helped me travel through time and made me realize how much things have changed over the years. It filled me with unshakeable emotions making me feel like I have just been in the author's shoes, experiencing something invaluable. The writing style was so easy to follow that it almost felt like I was reliving my own memories while also contemplating the choices and decisions made throughout my life. The author indeed used powerful imagery to paint an artistic depiction of her interesting personal life experiences. One of my favorite qualities about the narrator was the optimistic embracing attitude which makes everything seem all right and sometimes even beautiful. This book reminded me how we all have unique beginnings, follow our own paths, and yet will more likely than not end up in the same place.
This book showed me how an entire family bonded together by their common desire to travel. At the same time, this book also traveled me to a simpler time by reminding me of the precious memories I made on my family trips. This book aided my creativity as I imagined the roads that lead from a small town to another, letting me sink into a whole different existential space. I learned from this book that traveling broadens your perspective and that it teaches you to go with the flow, wherever life may take you.
I could not find anything that I especially disliked in this book. The book has no grammatical and spelling errors and seems professionally edited. The book does not contain any profanity. I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
Reading this book was almost like reading a joyful and emotional history book, taking a walk down memory lane. I would recommend this book to everyone, especially those interested in history. I would also recommend this book to those looking to bring back some sweet memories and good nostalgia.
