The Red Wave Imperative by Alan Schein is a book that talks about American politics. The intended message of the book is to try and convince American citizens to vote for The Republican Party in the 2018 midterm election.

America is at a state of political turmoil. There is a war between the Republic and the Democratic party. The author does not agree that both political parties in question are at fault. The author strongly feels that Democratic party is fighting to bring Americas' down fall by denying Americans birth right to elect leaders.

Through this book the author brings out the truth of how politicians are using propaganda and media to deceive citizens. Democratic party goes to the extent of of paying protesters to cause chaos and destroy public properties so that it is said the government is unable to rule. The author uses Antifa group as a proof to the paid protesters. Antifa is the leading resistance movement or group in United State of America.

The author proposes that with the current state of politics, United States faces a 60 percent chance of civil war within the next ten to fifteen years. This is a prediction the author bases on the conditions that Mines cited and currently America meets them all. They are; Deep national polarization, political press coverage, Weakened Congress and the judiciary, an abandonment of responsibility by political leadership and the use of violence to solve disputes.

What I liked the most about this book is how the author has tried to be fair on showing the true characters of most politicians. He shows how politicians are corrupt and self-centered. They only need citizens during election and after that they care for their own interests. The author also advises people to vote wisely.

I felt that the author was somehow adoring Trump. As much as Trump's propositions were right he also had weaknesses. This was the only part that I disliked about this book.

The book was well written and thoroughly edited. I only noticed very minor editing errors which did not interfere with the flow of the book . I therefore give it a rating of 4 out 4 stars. I also noticed instance where vulgar language was used.

I would recommend this book to every open minded reader and who is of the right age to cast a vote. The book has valuable ideas that can help you vote wisely.
