Mastering Your Life by Malti Bhojwani takes self-discovery to a different level by suggesting ways and mediums that work for her, and at the same time, giving general self-discovery tips. In Malti Bhojwani's words, "knowledge is power and what I've endeavored to do in this book is to share with you every single gem of wisdom that I've learned through my life experiences and the work and study that I have committed my life to."

One of the important things that stood out in this book was the emphasis on meditation. The word "meditation" was used a good number of times, and it boiled down to how it can help reprogram your mind and expand the observer in you. I had not been much of a meditator, but with the techniques and explanations stated in the book, I tried it and felt at peace with my mind. I found myself traveling far to the future and back, meditating on what I wanted to do and achieve.

Malti Bhojwani did not borrow success stories of top motivational speakers or billionaires. She shared her life stories — how she battled with low self-esteem, hardship, and many other challenges she faced. More intriguing was the unveiling of her physique and how she almost felt useless with her body. Finding her purpose and confidence was a big step in getting her high self-esteem. Malti did not bombard the reader with stories of achievers. See what she said: "Y'all, this is my life and this happened to me. I think you can learn from it."

The practical exercises in this book made it so amazing. Aside from the meditation aspect, there was the part that Malti Bhojwani required the reader to reconnect with the three happiest and most fulfilling moments of their lives and create a two-word purpose with them. I couldn't help but go back in time to when I engaged in things I loved. The book was life-changing; I learned a lot from it.

The avalanche of rhetorical questions would cause one to take a pause and begin to think about their life. Readers would be confronted with a question like, "what do you want people to be saying about you long after you are gone?"

This book is flawless, and the editing is top-notch. I have no complaints of any sort. Owing to this, I give it four out of four stars. I recommend this book to anyone looking to discover who they are.

I am always drawn to self-help books where the advice is practical and based on the author's own experiences. Thanks to your review I can see that this is certainly one of those. Well done!

If you don't have an advice to give then share your story. If there has been any challenge, experience or resolution then let people know. Malti's word meditation is what I admired the most.
