Winning the War on Cancer is a non-fiction book written by Sylvie Beljanski. The author's keen interest in creating organic health and beauty products and her desire to see people live a healthy life with the help of natural products compelled her to write this book. In this book, Sylvie opines that we can win the war against cancer when we take control of our lives and never give up.

In the first chapter of the book, Winning the War on Cancer, Sylvie Beljanski tells the readers about her late father, Mirko Beljanski, a scientist. He researched on and developed extracts from "Pao Pereira" and "Rauwolfia vomitoria," which worked beautifully against pancreatic cancer stem cells, as well as ovarian cancer stem cells. His work was well appreciated by scientists all around the world, several other research was done with the extract several times, and the results always came out positive. Despite the challenges now faced by Sylvie Beljanski and her team, who worked together in the Beljanski's Foundation, this work has proved to be a breakthrough in the war against cancer.

This book has a lot of positive aspects. The first positive aspect in favor of this book is that the author made sure to explain abbreviations used in the book; abbreviations, like CIRIS, which means Center for Information of Research and Scientific Innovation, S.W.A.T. team which is “GIGN” in French, KUMC which is University of Kansas Medical Center, FAIM which is Foundation for Alternative Integrative Medicine, NIH which is National Institutes of Health and so on. Also, Sylvie did a great job of explaining the medical terms used in the book. I found this book educational as I learned the meanings of new medical terms, like myelodysplasia, a disorder where the bone marrow does not produce enough healthy blood cells, and myeloid, which Is related to the bone marrow. Also, this book contained pictures, referencing, and links, which helped me understand the points made throughout the book. I think this would aid any reader who wishes to continue research.

I tried so hard to find a negative aspect to the book Winning the War on Cancer by Sylvie Beljanski; I found none. I enjoyed everything about this book. I was glued to this book from the very first page to the last. I did not find errors in this book; it was exceptionally well edited.

Therefore, I rate Sylvie's book 4 out of 4 stars. I did not give this book a lower rating since it was intriguing and enjoyable to read. I recommend this book generally to all medical practitioners and all those at war against cancer around the world, particularly to cancer patients. Anyone who seeks to fight cancer would enjoy this book.
