Do you feel like your life’s path is going round and round in circles? There’s a Rooster in My Bathroom by Trish Ostroski is packed full of examples to help you get some direction in your life’s journey. She shares some of her life experiences and how each one has made her focus on something to make her life better. Life snippets from her life include encounters with celebrities, those who barely have the means to survive, and even an earthquake.

This book was a joy for me to read. Trish has a gift to share her life adventures with others. I loved how she ended each chapter with what I will call words of advice and a quotation. In our busy lives, we can forget about using our common sense. I appreciated the nudge of these words that got me thinking about if there is something more I could be doing differently in my life.

This book has a lot of information about what you can do to better your mindset, work ethics, dreaming, goal setting, and much more. One example is not to give up on a dream or goal because something is not going the way you want. Find a way to move forward. The reward for reaching your goal will be well worth the extra effort.

Trish must have been reading my mind. I often found myself imagining what something looked like while reading one of her snippets. I would paint a picture. About halfway through the book, I turned a page and was delighted to see the numerous photos she included.

The only thing I didn’t like about the book was how it made me feel about what I’ve done with tracking my journey. Something I definitely will be improving so I can pass on my legacy to my children. Kudos to the editors. I only found one typographical error in There’s a Rooster in My Bathroom.

Thanks to Trish. I now have a good list of things that I can do to make my life journey more rounded and complete.

I would recommend this book for anyone who needs to find some direction in their life and doesn’t mind religious references. Being the religious person Trish is, the book has no sexual instances or profanity. There is also some humor sprinkled in that made this book fun to read. The abundance of tips for making your life better is incredible. I am happy to give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.
