Review of Winning the War on Cancer
In Winning the War on Cancer, Sylvie Beljanski wrote a non-fiction medical book that combines personal experiences and a holistic medical approach to finding a cure for cancer. The proliferation of different types of cancer disease has become a global problem that scientists have tried to solve for a good number of decades.
From the Pasteur Research Institute in France, a man named Mirko Beljanski, a green molecular biologist dedicated his life to finding natural and safe treatments of cancer for the well-being of humanity. His decades of research paved the way as he stumbled on some plants extracts. After experiments, the extracts were proven to help destroy cancer cells by eliminating the cancerous RNA fragments. This different method of curing cancer posed a threat to him, and he encountered many challenges. A lady willing to carry on her father's legacy, Sylvie Beljanski, tells the story of her father's life and all that pertains to his research on viruses and cancer. The book teaches the possible ways of living the healthy life we all crave for. Do you want to know the possible ways of stopping the global nightmare, cancer? Find out by reading this brilliant book.
The book has a lot of positive points. Firstly, I love that it was a biography that had a lot of adventures; this makes the reader interested and keen to know what would be the result of the discoveries made. Also, Sylvie Beljanski wrote the book in simple terms such that a non-medically inclined reader could understand the terms without confusion. She avoided medical jargon that may confuse the reader. There were pictorial descriptions and several appendixes to aid the reader in understanding the book better. I love that the book was not just centered on medicine only; it showed the individual personalities of some of the characters. All information given in the book was based on established facts.
I didn't find anything to dislike about the book. It was concise and straight to the point. It also contained really helpful information for cancer treatment.
The book was exceptionally well edited. I found no spelling or grammatical errors in it. I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. I do so because Sylvie Beljanski did the best she could to write a book about another man's findings. Being a non-fiction and medical book, it is often challenging to create an engaging atmosphere. However, the book was interesting, concise, and apt.
Cancer patients will find very helpful information in the book. Also, anyone who is interested in finding a better way of living healthy in today's world should do well to read this book.
