First of all I would like to say that I love the ideas in this book. I for one actually have used some of the methods mentioned in the book “The Paradigm Success Codes for Life” by Carla Wynn. However, I would rate this book 2 out of 4 stars because of how it was written.

The Paradigm Success Codes for Life has a lot of life experiences from the author that is used to help the readers understand the concepts and methods that should be used to overcome the hurtful emotions stemmed from those experiences. These methods are so that the readers will be able to move forward with their lives and not stay in limbo with pain as their neighbor. It is a very moving book and some readers may enjoy it.

The reason I did not enjoy reading it so much is because it was poorly written. There were too many repetitive statements used throughout the book. For example the statement, “deep into the catacombs of your subconscious mind…” was used entirely too much. I love the statement; it just should not have been used so much. Also the main issue, the Mayan calendar, was explained during the introduction and again numerous times throughout the chapters. I believe that the readers will remember the events after mentioning them once and that it is no need for the redundancy.

The introduction was repetitive as well. It was ongoing with the same thoughts and expectations of the book and they were mentioned in different contexts throughout the paragraphs. There was also a paragraph that was repeated between pages 37 and 38, as well as, the definition of Paradigm being repeated twice on page 18. I am also concerned about the citations and references missing in this book. For instance, the pictures used throughout the book do not have any citations for them. There was also a movie reference on page 50 without any name or citation either. This may not be an issue but just to be safe I would like to present the possibility.

So in closing I would like to state again that I love the ideas presented in this book but wished that they were presented better. I agree with the methods and the reason for the book. It could help a lot of people with their psychological issues with their experiences throughout their lives. The book just needs some more tweaking and it would be better read.
