Review of Bitcoin Answered
[Following is a volunteer review of "Bitcoin Answered" by Jon Law.]
Cryptocurrency has been everywhere these past few years. It is something that excites and scares new investors. The shroud of mystery around it has just given rise to speculations and uncertainties despite its growing usage. People often find themselves lost in the search for their queries related to cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin Answered by Jon Law is the perfect book to get acquainted with the field of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. This book is divided into small chunks of information aimed at answering the most fundamental queries of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to those looking to invest in it. The author uses simple language. The concepts are distilled down to make it accessible to every common investor even if they are not well acquainted with the technology behind Bitcoin. The book tackles all sorts of questions - from the unknown creator of Bitcoin to its future in the coming years. The objective approach of the book makes it more fact and logic-oriented rather than running away with any sorts of speculations that might not be based on strong grounds. It not only is an informative guide on what Bitcoin is, but it also sheds light on the basics of trading which might also apply to investing in general. In the past 2-3 years, the number of people investing in cryptocurrencies has increased by multiple folds. This has led to increased curiosity among the users. This book is the perfect manual to have by your side if you are looking to invest, or know more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to begin with. The fundamentals are covered very well. The detailed segmentation of the book to cover all types of questions makes it very easy to refer anytime there is any doubt one needs to clear.
To emphasize the simplicity and make sure that the reader understands everything clearly, the author gets repetitive with content at times. This works well in the context of this book. It helps connect different aspects of Bitcoin which might not be so clear to most of the beginners in this domain. Also, this makes it a very handy reference book.
The book is very well edited apart from a few minor errors. There are no profanities or usage of sexual terms. I will give this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book serves its purpose very well. It is a highly informative book that can be helpful to both beginners and experts in the field of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. The book is short, crisp, and conveys answers to important questions with ease. I will recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about investing in Bitcoin, or just want to know more about it.
