Review of Findin9 H2OM3
[Following is a volunteer review of "Findin9 H2OM3" by Jameson B Grant.]
It is always amazing when I read a memoir and an autobiography about someone. "Findin9 H2om3" is similar to looking at a photo album where you are taking a glimpse into the life of the author, Jameson B. Grant. Grant wrote his life into this very book and even did a play-on-word with the book's title, "Findin9 H2om3: Son of Man: Around the Moon and Back Again" . The author describes parts of his childhood in great detail and how his experiences help him become a wise adult. His life is not only adventurous, but it takes a lot of interesting twists and turns into the life of this author.
As a person who loves to read memoirs and autobiographies of other people, you can learn a thing or two from other people's life experiences. This book's message is a positive fact where it shows that when you live your life to the fullest. In the case of this memoir, you also learn that you should honor your parents. Our parents, like mine, make huge sacrifices for their children to have the best life ever. You can see it in the mother's character in the book where, for example, she would take her son to the movies due to his passion of wanting to be an actor.
Even though the positives outweigh the negatives in this story, it doesn't mean that this book doesn't have its share of negative comments. The biggest pet peeve about this book is how some of the YouTube links listed in some of the chapters don't work. An example of this was when the author was discussing his youth and how he had numerous movie crushes. The author went on about how he felt like Superman and his crush was Lois Lane. Sadly, the link to the video didn't work and it will be a nuisance for readers if they can't find it.
Speaking of positive aspects, this book is well-written and the author took the effort to make sure there are no errors. As I read through this author's story of his life, I've noticed that the way he wrote the book is intriguing. In the very first chapter, he discussed information about Ecuador and the USA like he was writing an essay in school. The moment the author goes to chapter five, that is when Jameson B. Grant starts telling his story. His story has no sexual content that wouldn't prevent others from reading this book. Despite this, this book has a lot of religious content, but that must show how the author lived his life.
I would love to give this book a 4 out of 4 stars . This well-written book deserves this rating because of how much readers can learn from this author's life experiences. While some borderline and non-borderline profanity is shown, I would recommend this book to everyone. The pictures and the YouTube video links are a great way for everyone to envision the life of Jameson B. Grant. This book will make you look back on your life and even appreciate the things with it, good and bad alike.
