Erikson published The Drug-Free Sleep Solution: The Four-Week Program of Overcoming Insomnia Using Cognitive Behavioral by David Durocher. This book is a step-by-step guide to overcome restlessness in our daily lives. The quest is more vital than we realize.

The author, David Durocher, uses cognitive-behavioral therapy to educate readers on the improvement of their sleeping disorders. Some people with insomnia fall into health risks, such as hypertension, depression, heart attacks, and obesity. The novel explains different insomnia disorders and several techniques to improve stress levels, breathing methods, and exercise. It includes sleep diaries that are well described and simple to complete. He compiled the detail in seven brief chapters.

I can relate to this novel because of personal experience. The facts stated seem to be accurate and in an easy-to-read style. I have been practicing some of these exercises. I am intrigued by the several others mentioned in this list, that I have not been aware of. Readers experiencing problems with sleeplessness, and difficulty falling asleep, will benefit from reading this novel. It explains medical terms, and readers with no medical background will also comprehend the detail. The only section I disliked is the suggestion of the Sleep Deprivation Method; this could have effects on persons that are already using medication. I liked that the author showed, to seeking medical attention when needed. I feel this book is a map of good quality sleep to function effectively, and efficiently at work and home.

The author included several resource pages. He also states that self-medication is not ideal and seeks preventive attention when experiencing challenges. I enjoyed reading about his personal spiritual beliefs, which could be of significant benefit to a positive environment. With an attitude of hope, and enthusiasm, and an open mind, I found the book helpful in my lifestyle. It's a well-written page-turner from the first until the concluding page.

My rating concludes to four out of four stars, as it's exceptionally well-edited. I found no grammar or spelling errors and enjoyed reading this educational book. It contains no profanity or erotic content. The Drug-Free Sleep Solution is a great self-help book with practical advice for persons within a stressful environment. Everyone young and older readers that need to improve their sleeping quality will benefit from reading this inspirational novel. I would also like to include in my recommendation the idea of using these exercises to relax when preparing for examinations.
