Rudy Mutombo is passionate about coaching entrepreneurs and ensuring they succeed in their businesses. As a serial entrepreneur with multiple successful businesses, Mutombo has crafted, tailored, and perfected a business model based on biblical principles to help Christian entrepreneurs soar. In his book titled Millionaire’s Mind: 9 Steps to Your Million Dollar Business, Mutombo guides his audience through all the steps of creating a successful business model and teaches them how to set up a successful business from scratch. In this book, he discusses topics such as defining the purpose of your business, identifying your target market and niche, finding suitable distribution channels, building sustainable relationships with various stakeholders, identifying resources and partnerships, structuring costs and profits, etcetera.

While the information presented in this book is not new or ground-breaking, the approach and application are unique, setting the book apart from the rest in the market. Another commendable positive aspect of the book is that it addresses all critical elements of a business throughout its lifecycle - from the moment an entrepreneur establishes a business until the product or service reaches the customer or end-user. The author is realistic about the journey of establishing a multimillion business - the challenges of growing a business, the positives of reaching milestones, capital challenges, and a host of other challenges.

This book is suitable for both new and established entrepreneurs, as the language and terminology employed are easy to comprehend. The chapters are well partitioned and presented in a logical format. The author has also included a reference section for readers who would like to consult other resources for further reading. There is also a note section that readers can use to scribble as they read through the chapters. I did not use this notes section, as it would have meant flipping back and forth, which would have been a tedious exercise.

Every chapter has a special prayer and scripture related to the content it covers. These prayers and scriptures tie up the chapter remarkably, and I liked that.

I only came across a handful of errors, and the book appears to be professionally edited. There was nothing I disliked about the book. I am rating it 4 out of 4.

The primary aim of this instructive book is to guide Christian business owners to position their businesses to become million-dollar businesses by applying biblical principles. This book will benefit Christians contemplating venturing into business and those with established businesses. They can also use it as a research resource tool while designing their business model. The content covered in this book caters to a wide range of Christian audiences. Readers of a religion other than Christianity may not enjoy this book because of its heavy application of scripture.

I am sure Non-Christian entrepreneurs can take a lot out of this book. Whatever the religion, the fundamental principles of business are the same.

This sounds like a great book for business owners; however, that isn't me. Therefore, I think I will skip it. I enjoyed reading your informative and interesting review, though!
