Review of Testimony
As Christians, do we view life as concerning God, or are we to follow the trend? Testimony by James Rondinone is a book written to help Christians who are battling with their sexual inclinations. It is a book that would help Christians handle their sexuality in a way that would please God.
Being born into a Christian family wasn't enough to convince James of the Christian faith. James, despite growing up in a family where his father would often take him to church, didn't understand God. Because of the numerous fights he had with his father, James began following a bad group. After he graduated from college, things became difficult for him. In search of a better life, he found God. His story before and after meeting God is a story that would spur anyone willing to come to God to do better. So many people think that once they receive God, they will overcome whatever they are battling with at that instant. This book explicitly clarifies how believers should think. Most Christians have a mindset towards sinful sexual desires. This is a must-read for every Christian to help them have clarity on what they already believe. Grab a copy of this book to help align your sexual life with the purpose of God.
This book has helped boost my life as a Christian. I was fascinated by what this writer had to offer his readers. This book made me reflect on my life as a Christian. After reading Joyce Meyer's story, I was motivated. Who would have thought that she would be where she was after all she went through? The author's use of biblical passages to solidify his facts made the book feel more like a Bible guide. The fact that the author used other people's stories to motivate his readers made the book more interesting.
There was nothing to hate about this book. The author had a good idea of what he was writing. This book was so well-detailed that even the average person would understand the author's message. I have always listened to Hillsong music, but I have never read their history. I liked how the author briefly narrated their history. I found this book informative and educational. The Becket Cook story is a story that would inspire any reader hoping to leave his or her sinful nature.
I'm rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. I found no errors while reading. This shows that it was exceptionally well-edited. I would love to recommend this book to people who love Christian books.
