Several aspects of life can be viewed from different perspectives. It's not often you get to meet someone who you can hold intelligent conversations with and share ideas with, even if they're contrasting ideas. Fishing for Dr Richard by Bob Kimmerling is a book that tells the story of two men who embark on a journey of discussions for years.

Dr. Richard and the author, Bob, had met a few times before deciding to go fishing together. Bob later had an idea for both of them to go on some sort of pilgrimage. Dr. Richard was twenty years older than Bob. Bob told Dr. Richard about his idea and his plan to write a book about their discussions and encounters. And so their journey began. They talk about their beliefs, career, education, childhood, health, women and relationships, etc. These two strangers create a very strong bond. They become able to share ideas freely and reminisce about the past to understand life better. Grab a copy of this book right now and hitch a ride with these two men as they embark on their journey.

I enjoyed reading this book. I love the unbiased nature of the story. The two men in the book were open about their experiences, beliefs, and ideas. They were also willing to share their ideas without hiding anything or holding grudges. The book is very enlightening and educating. Readers can benefit a lot from what was discussed in the book. The way the two men handled the subject of God and Christianity was awesome. The book creates an environment where readers with diverse ideas and beliefs can read about several aspects of life.

There was absolutely nothing I disliked about this book. It contained several thought-provoking themes. Some of the themes include death, health, belief, etc. The characters in the book were not numerous, but were well-developed. The scenes were well-organized and coordinated. The author also showed artistic expertise. His style of writing was engaging, and each chapter of the book was beautifully written. I loved the fact that I was able to follow the lives of the two men simultaneously as the story progressed.

I didn't come across any errors while reading this book. It was professionally and exceptionally edited. The book had several positive aspects and no negative aspect I could pick out. Therefore, I'm rating Fishing for Dr Richard by Bob Kimmerling 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend this book to people who are interested in getting understanding of life from an unbiased perspective.

This is not the kind of book type I usually read and I don't know if I want to step out of my comfort zone. But I wish the author luck, as I'm sure this book would delight many others.

This book doesn't fall into my area of interest, so I'll skip it. However, I read the first two chapters, and it's clear that the author is a terrific writer. Congrats to him on his achievement and on BOTD!

While I enjoy nonfiction books this one seems more philosophical and therefore not my cup of tea. I appreciate various topics discussed but it doesn't appeal to me to read it. Great job with the review.
