Nom Nom Paleo Cook book Review
I have made a number of the recipes in this book. My favorites include Fiona’s Green Chicken, which I made for the first time the week before last and my fiance loved. We will have it again this week. If you cook this recipe, make sure you save the bones for bone broth. I made bone broth for the first time last night. It is a rich and hearty broth soup. It’s August now, so I’m not really looking for recipes that will warm me up, but this recipe is still delicious and is full of all kinds of good stuff. I’ve also made the Korean Short Ribs multiple times. I usually use regular beef ribs and I can’t find short ribs in my local grocery story and leave out the pear since I find it really difficult to peel a pear and I don’t really like pears anyway. Put it all together in the crockpot in the morning (don’t bother with broiling the ribs…just stick them in the crockpot) and it will be ready when you get home in the afternoon.
The recipes in this book are all paleo, which means they do not include, gluten, soy, dairy, or anything processed. Even if you don’t follow this lifestyle, the recipes in this book are worth it. Eating non-processed, whole foods can never hurt and you will be surprised how tasty the recipes are. Do yourself (and your stomach) a favor and get this book.
