In recent years, cryptocurrencies have been making it to the headlines, consequently drawing more people in to its fast-paced digital market. However, despite the attention the crypto market has been receiving from the media and from well-known companies and individuals, many are still left in the dark as to what it really is and how it basically works. There is no better way to get acquainted with cryptocurrencies than to know the coin that introduced this new era of investing and trading to the world- Bitcoin. Bitcoin: Answered by Alan John and Jon Law tries to solve the mystery by answering frequently asked questions, breaking down into simple terms the rather novel technology of cryptography, and by putting into direct language the otherwise foreign jargon of the crypto universe.

The best thing about this book is that it delivers what it promises to deliver. It is subtitled as A Beginner’s Guide to Everything Bitcoin and that is what it exactly is and even more! It is direct to the point and it uses simple language that can be easily understood by readers who are not necessarily tech-savvy or who are not investment and trading experts. This guide got to business right away by defining essential terms and concepts that are foundational for the chapters ahead. There is a coherent flow of logic in its organization from beginning to end.

The only thing that sort of bothered me while reading this book was how it became repetitive at some points. In some later parts, it would repeat defining terms or explaining concepts it already defined or explained in earlier chapters. However, I understand that repetition is a helpful tool in educating beginners regarding a new field. Thus, it might not be bothersome to most readers.

I am delighted that I was given the privilege of reading this book. As a crypto investor myself, reading Bitcoin: Answered helped me to clarify some of my confusions, and enabled me to further understand the history, technology and the social aspect of the crypto market. For this reason, I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

I would specifically recommend this book to those who are interested and are wanting to enter the crypto market but do not know where and how to start. Furthermore, I also highly recommend this reading to those who have already entered the market but are wanting to strengthen their technical analysis and become their own technical analysts.

I found your review helpful and full of information for readers who would want to get a copy of this book. Unfortunately, I will have to skip it, as I am not interested in cryptocurrencies. Nonetheless, great review!
