Most of us have probably heard of Bitcoin; we may even know someone using it. Do we, however, understand what Bitcoin is?

Bitcoin: Answered by Jon Law and Alan John, is a beginner's guide to Bitcoin. The book was written in order to address the misconceptions and doubts that the general public has about Bitcoin. The book covers the fundamentals of Bitcoin. It is written in a question based format. Each chapter begins with a question; this is then followed by a text that attempts to answer the question. Law and John start by explaining what Bitcoin is: "Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency; a means and store of value that exists purely online, without any physical form." The book explains the history of Bitcoin, how it works, and the supposed founder. Other topics covered include: the pros and cons of Bitcoin, how to successfully invest in Bitcoin, and how to prevent being scammed on Bitcoin. There are many other interesting topics addressed in the book.

I like the approach used in writing this book. The information is presented to the reader in a systematic manner. Even though there are many technical terms, and a whole list of new terms that are used in the world of cryptocurrency, the authors try to present the information in the simplest way possible. Law and John answered the questions as best as they could. The concepts were explained in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner. The authors also added a glossary of terms used in the world of cryptocurrency. Readers can refer to this glossary when they come across terms that they are not familiar with.

I found it amusing that the founder of Bitcoin is not known. Many speculate that the founder is a forty-five-year-old man named Satoshi Nakamoto; however, not much is known about him.

There are still some questions I have about Bitcoin. There was a whole lot of information to digest, and I found that some of the terms were just too technical for me.

All things considered, I must state that the authors did a remarkable job. They addressed the cardinal questions that most people new to Bitcoin would ask. The book was professionally edited. It is a well-written book, and I am happy to give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

Before reading this book, I had so many questions about Bitcoin. Thanks to this book, most of my questions have been answered. The book was very helpful. Bitcoin: Answered is a quick and easy read that contains the basic information you need to know about Bitcoin. I recommend this book to those interested in investing in cryptocurrency—Bitcoin to be specific.

I know absolutely nothing about bitcoin, and I probably should read up on it to have at least an understanding of the basics. This book sounds like a good place to start. Thank you for an informative and well-written review!

The book was straightforward. It adopted the question-answer method. So it definitely lived up to its promises. It reminds us not to take things we hear from the internet seriously because mostly people there are not qualified on the subject.

I’m still confused. Even though currency goes in and out of my checking account without me holding it, I am still scared of money I can’t see.

I thought Bitcoin was going to be one of those ponzi schemes but it's still here, standing strong.
