Who am I? What am I supposed to do, to become with these gifts? Where exactly am I headed to in life? Where exactly am I headed for? Since I have missed the mark, is it too late to start afresh? To begin again? Who would assist me in accomplishing all that my heart sets out to do? What do I yearn for the most? These are questions and many more we ask in a bid to understand ourselves better. And as valid as these questions are, they are not meant to make us feel despondent. On the contrary, they seek to provide objective answers that will help us gain clarity and mastery over ourselves and our lives in a larger sense. As a result, Robert White in his book The Maestro Monologue sets out to help us discover who we truly are and who we are meant to be. In helping us achieve this, Robert White in his book emphasizes the necessity of having control over one's life. The importance of this is to help one harness his potential maximally, thereby improving one's quality of life in the long run. The goal is to lead a life of fulfillment, contentment, and satisfaction. But there are challenges you must overcome in your becoming. And what are they? How do you overcome them? Who has the key you seek to unlock these great potentials you possess? How do I discover these hindrances? Are they latent or apparent? Reading the book will provide answers to these questions.

The book is beautifully structured into four different parts, with poems and quotes interspersed all through the body of this book. These quotes and poems reinforce the lessons in the section where they are found. Also, I find the exercises designed at the end of chapters rewarding and introspective. It permits the reader to pause and reflect on how these lessons will aptly apply in his life.

Having thoroughly enjoyed this book I find nothing negative about this book. This is because there the language and style in which this book is written will appeal to all. Again, the exercises are broken down in such a way that you can amend them so that they can fit into your current circumstances. For those who find it hard to focus, the repeated lessons reinforce what was taught previously. You just flow with the teachings.

Having not discovered any ill about the book, I rate this book four out of four stars because it is professionally edited. I did not find errors in this work having gone through this work.

It is suitable for mind therapists and anyone who desires to overcome personal limitations.
