Discover your genius, Defeat your intruder and Design your destiny. This is The Maestro Monologue by Rob White. It is a motivational, self-discovery, life changing and awareness book that guides readers about realizing their full potential. The book lays a groundwork for your journey to personal growth. Based on the authors several years of experience, this four part book teaches readers how to remove obstacles that holds their progress in life and realize their full potential. The negative thoughts, procrastination in making decisions, the myths, and the misconceptions are all hindrances to our progress. Part one deals with understanding what’s ultimately true about yourself. Understanding yourself helps to see yourself in a new light. You see the potential in the new you which leads to a new beginning and thus creating new opportunities. It teaches how to be confident and inspire ourselves. Part two deals with the intruder within yourself. These are the misunderstandings and self-doubts that everybody has about themselves which prevent them from realizing their dreams and aspirations. You feel helpless. As the author says, the intruder in your life thrives on one question, “What’s wrong with me?” In this part, you learn how to deal with this intruder.

Part three is about the Maestro in you. You realize the forgotten talents that you have and see vast possibilities in life. You believe in yourself and start defining your destiny in life because you have unmatched potential and talent. You only have to call upon the dynamic trio including the rebel, the recognizer and revealer to create new possibilities and realize your dreams. Part four deals with the kingdom of winning. This is when you have finally arrived. You have discovered what is good about you and you are ready to reap the fruits of your new awareness. Do you always have negative thoughts and would like to learn how to deal with them? Do you need to improve on your life? Do you feel stuck in life and need some guidance? Do you want to know what it means to be your own Maestro and attain success? This book is a must read.

What I liked about the book is that it teaches readers to take personal responsibility of their lives. It is only after that you can become your best. The book encourages us to learn from our mistakes; they should be stepping stones for our success. It also encourages readers to awaken their hidden talents so as to realize their full potential. The book is filled with sample questions and self-awareness exercises to overcome emotional barriers and broaden your understanding. The real-life stories of people who let go of their past “No” chapters and those who reinterpreted them are a huge motivation. It is filled with poems, quotations from scholars and philosophers, Bible verses all of which are inspirational and make the message more understandable to the reader. The book further teaches readers to remove the negative thoughts in their lives that hinders their progress. Instead, we need to have a positive way of thinking if we are to attain success. This book is for anyone who wants to change their lives.

There is nothing I disliked about the book, there are some repetitions of some text but they only put emphasis on those points so readers can understand them better. This is a great book that can ignite people to realize their unlimited potential. It can change people’s lives.

I rate The Maestro Monologue 4 out of 4 stars. It is exceptionally well edited with no errors. The book is educational and filled with ideas that can have an impact in a person’s life. It is an excellent source to understanding yourself. It is one of the best books ever written about personal growth.

I recommend this book to all people who want to change their lives. If you feel stuck in life, if you need direction and self-improvement, if you need to find new opportunities, and if you need to attain success and happiness, this book is a must read.
