The altitude Journals begins with David J Mauro. In this memoir, he starts as a financial planner. After a rocky marriage, he decides to get divorced from his wife. The divorce is very hard on him. His wife's brother asks him to accompany him on a mountain climbing expedition at The Denali Mountain. David J Mauro refuses but later agrees. He starts by climbing the Denali but later on ends up climbing all the seven highest mountains of the world. In the memoir, David J Mauro gives an account of the difficulties he faced while trying to prove himself. from the constant disapproval of his family members to the harsh Mountain conditions, David J Mauro perseveres until the end. At the end of every expedition, David J Mauro learns a new life lesson that’s relevant to his current life situation. David J Mauro also gets to meet very amazing people on every journey he embarks on.

What I loved about the book was the way that David J Mauro described every single adventure. This made the entire book feel like a whole journey. Every detail was vividly described. This especially made the mountain's terrain seem beautiful. I also loved the way the book incorporated believable challenges. I especially connected with the book when Lyn came into the picture. Every single chapter was riddled with beautiful moments that left me breathless. I also loved the way David J Mauro used simple language to relay a large range of emotions. This makes the book easier to understand and the characters easy to believe. The book also had the perfect length. It was neither too long nor too short. Every single adventure was wrought with mind-blowing solutions to every challenge.

There was nothing to dislike about The Altitude Journals by David J Mauro. I did not find any errors in the book.

I would rate the book 4 out of 4 stars because David J Mauro has a way of making every adventure seem beautiful. All the chapters were well written and easy to understand. I did not give it a lower rating because I could not find anything that I hated in the book. All in all, The Altitude Journals was a mind-blowing adventure. It made me want to climb a mountain or just love something.

I would recommend this book to fans of adventure stories. People who read memoirs could also find The Altitude Journals very entertaining. I would also recommend it to readers of self-help books. The Altitude Journals was very interesting.
