Everyone wants to live long, but no one wants to look old. Many have entrusted their looks into the hands of surgeons. What about you? Have you ever thought of enhancing your appearance through surgery? What if there is an effective and affordable way to reverse the effect of aging and improve your overall health? The Aging Games by Lynn Hardy discusses the root cause of many age-related diseases and provides practical solutions.

This book mentions the harmful effect of poor sleep, the best sleeping position, and how to maintain a good sleeping position. The author highlighted 7 practical ways to overcome alcoholism, the best way to treat water meant for drinking, and the harmful effect of coffee. The book further analyzed important vitamins that can delay or reverse aging and shared the potential sources of these vitamins. Other issues covered in this book include how to correct bad posture, the harmful effect of restrictive wear, the benefits of massage, and how to eliminate age spots. The book explains that regular cosmetics can be highly toxic and may affect the skin. A list of toxic chemicals to avoid was provided.

I love how the author provided practical and simple tips to resolve common problems. Her suggestions were flexible and reasonable. To successfully implement the tips, she suggested that readers can start with 10 tips and add 10 more every month. She admitted that some changes might be difficult to make. I also love how the book employed visual aids generously. The pictures and charts were clear, easy to understand, and attractive. The author also provided links to numerous helpful YouTube videos.

This book was quite enlightening. Some of the facts were unusual and hard to believe. An example is the information about good and bad cholesterol. However, I did further research and found out that the information in the book is trustworthy. I appreciate how the author handled controversial topics. She made effective use of questions to help readers reason and draw conclusions. The book also contains summary boxes for each chapter. This is what I love most about the book. These boxes were my personal notes. They are concise and effective as memory aids.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I have no dislike about it. It is professionally edited. I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. While this book is valuable for everyone, readers above 40 years of age will benefit more from it.

There are often lots of contributory factors to a good and fresh skin that we don't take cognizance of and I liked that the author dwelled on this. I'm hooked to reading this book already.

I love how the author took her time to explain these facts, I hope it's able to dissuade people from getting surgeries and rather, take care of themselves.
