Review of Diaries of a Female Real Estate Investor
To succeed in whatever endeavor you choose in life, getting the necessary knowledge is vital! And if the venture you pick happens to be real estate, I am happy to introduce Diaries of a Female Real Estate Investor by Farrah Ali to you. Whether you are aspiring to become an investor or already one, the tips and strategies in this title are sure to help you succeed as a real estate investor.
Ms. Ali recounts how she realized she had to do something to change her narrative. At the time, she was a single mom of two boys, in debt of up to $80,000, and had no experience in real estate. Though Ms. Ali had a full-time job, she knew it wasn't enough, and after some research, she decided to become a real estate investor. It gladdens my heart that Ms. Ali chose to share her road map to becoming a successful investor with readers in this inspiring and insightful book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I commend the author for her engaging writing style. Her language is simple and without ambiguities, making the book easy to understand. The author's tone is encouraging and friendly, making me feel as if a friend was revealing her secrets to success to me over a bottle of wine. It was as if she knew the questions I had in mind because she answered them with each new discussion. I appreciated the 'Real Estate Myths' and 'Real Estate Investment Tips' sections at the end of each chapter. In them, the author debunked some of the false knowledge I had about real estate and provided invaluable advice. For example, most people believe they should only buy a property when the market is hot. Read the book to know what the author thinks about that.
What I love most about this book is that it contains real-life examples. The author narrated how she financed her first property. Don't forget that she was in debt and didn't have any savings at the time. I liked how she broke down the process into bits and provided simple calculations to make her explanations easy to understand. Thankfully, she did the same for several other properties that she acquired and even included pictures of the houses.
While investing in real estate is profitable and seems like an easy way of earning passive income, I am happy the author informs readers that it also requires work and must be done correctly to reap from it. I especially liked that she didn't present the information in this book as all you need to know to succeed as a real estate investor. However, I am sure that readers are on their way to success if they follow her guide and learn from her experience.
In conclusion, I am rating this publication a well-deserved four out of four stars because I thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't find anything to dislike about it. This publication would inspire readers to change their mindsets and rid themselves of the fear holding them back. It is also exceptionally edited and contains no errors.
While this book would empower and inspire female investors due to how easy it would be for women to relate to the author's story, my recommendation won't exclude men. Is there any aspiring male investor who wouldn't want to be successful? Hence, I highly recommend the book to readers interested in becoming real estate investors, especially those who don't know how and where to start.
