Everyone experiences failure at some point in their lives, but it's what we do after failing that determines the final result. Failure isn't the end. If anything, failure is just the extra push we need to try harder. On the road to becoming the best version of ourselves, we may face obstacles that can either scare us away or, make us even stronger than before. Though we may feel bombarded by all the stress failure can bring, the secret is to never give up because we never know what blessings are awaiting us around the corner. The road to success isn't as easy as it seems,but no one said it would be.

Disasters to Dreams: A Gritty Guide to finding Success in the Faces of Failure by Chris Patrick is a non-fictional inspirational novel based on the hardships he faced throughout his life, and what he did to overcome them. From childhood traima to multiple middle life crisis, it seemed as though life had it out for Chris. Still, he succeeded after all.

What I love most about this novel, is the invaluable information and advice the author gives to encourage others. Not only did he give his own advice but he did interviews with numerous successful individuals, giving the reader different perspectives on 'finding success in the faces of failure'. What I also liked was how the author related his message in a raw manner. It was easy to see myself relating my past experiences to his, while learning at the same time. This made me extremely intrigued to finish this book. I could tell his book was edited exceptionally well, as I couldn't find not one mistake.

This would be a great read for everyone, especially persons constantly faced with failure or persons finding themselves on the verge on giving up. I know I'll definitely be rereading this book soon. Congratulations to the author, and thank you for a great read as well as an exceptional contribution to the lives of whoever reads this book.

I couldn't find anything I dislike about this book, as it was a great read. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
