Review of Exploring Wine Regions – Bordeaux France
Exploring Wine Regions-Bordeaux France is an incredibly beautiful non-fiction book about the journey of a wine lover. This book contains an amazing and comprehensive travel guide for both professional and novice wine lovers alike. This is the second in a series exploring the wine region curated by author, photojournalist and publisher Michael C. Higgins. Higgins is a writer, photographer and wine connoisseur who dedicates 21 weeks to visiting castles in Bordeaux, France. This book is about Bordeaux as a wine region, full of pictures and very beautiful. The author considers Bordeaux to be the center of the wine universe because Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the two main grapes of the Bordeaux region are the two most widely grown grapes worldwide. This book is written based on the experience and direct interaction of the author and his love shines through every page of the book.
Exploring Wine Regions-Bordeaux France contains the most beautiful pictures of the Bordeaux region taken by the author himself. In this book, you can find recommendations for easy day trips, kid-friendly destinations, information on educational tours and tasting events, set tours or exclusive customized private excursions. Photos of famous places, vineyards and castles also make this book interesting. I really enjoyed reading this book because the pictures in the book are very clear and the wine regions on display are well represented. I also appreciate the fact that the author includes some history lessons about the wine business in France and although the book is about the wine region, the author takes the time to showcase what makes France a unique destination for a travel experience. Reading this book felt like I was really in France on a tour of all the wine regions. The author presents the content well and the reader is given the opportunity to experience the feeling of being in France without actually being there.
There are no negative points about this book. This book is in great demand from the title and cover of the book, the first page even when it ends. I wish this book was longer. This book doesn't just contain wine, its ownership and what makes each wine different and special.
I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. This book has no flaws and has been professionally edited. For unfamiliar terms, The author even includes a glossary and pictures that help the author convey the message.
I recommend this book for wine lovers, both professionals and beginners. Apart from wine lovers, I also recommend that travel lovers who want to enjoy learning outside of tourism will also get the most out of this book. Because this book contains history and other detailed characteristics.
