Isn't it amusing that someone at the age of forty-four declares himself a mountain climber? The Altitude Journals by David J Mauro is an amazing and must-read autobiographical book about David Mauro's life as a mountain climber. It's a fantastic and entertaining book that you won't regret reading. This is a book that a colleague recommended to me, and I was fortunate enough to find it.

The author wonders why people keep asking him why he opted to endanger his life so many times, and why he decided to consider himself a mountain climber at that age in the book's prologue. He recounts his childhood experiences in the same section of the book. Don, his biological father, had abandoned them at a critical point in their lives. Fortunately, Jack, his stepfather, steps in and assumes the role of father. He even served as a role model for the author. His true father seeks to re-unite with him after all these years of hiding. Is David going to forgive him?

The book's cover is attractive. This superb book's veracity could not be questioned. The character development was done quite well. I can't think of a better way to describe my favorite aspect of the book than the author's writing style. He has skillfully woven a story that is both motivating and entertaining. This is a true story about the author that will make you laugh and cry at the same time. When compared to other books in the same genre, I believe it will be at the top of the list of good biographical books.

This book is divided into seven sections. In the first few pages of the book, there is a well-written table of contents that highlights the story's sub-topics. There are links to the author's photos and the events in his life that are included in the book. In addition, the book includes pictures of the author at various times. The one feature of the book that I didn't like was how many subtopics it contained. The book is around 453 pages long.

I'm a voracious reader who enjoys books of all kinds. This was a fun read that I'll have to add to my list of favorites. I give it 4 out of 4 stars. There were no errors in the book that I discovered. In addition, the editing was excellent. Furthermore, it is a remarkable and life-changing book that has greatly influenced me. It's something I'd recommend to everyone who likes autobiographies and inspirational stories.
