Conversing With Various Entities by Mary Ellen Wall is a non-fiction novel elaborating about some pseudoscientific methods the author has used to communicate with the entities around her.

The author uses a y-shaped branch to figure out the location to drill a well. Though she didn't completely believe in it, that was her only option. To her surprise, that method worked perfectly, providing her water throughout the year. That moment motivated her to try various other methods.

These methods like dowsing are not proven and scientists believe it is no more than a random guess. But, not proven doesn't mean they do not exist. The author explained every part of the methods, including the steps to make a material if it is not found. I loved the way she completely believed in it and tried every method she came across. This book is professionally edited and I found only 1 error in it. The language used is simple English with no difficult words to understand. Reading this book felt like having a real conversation with a friend. The author has also provided a section for the readers to try and experiment themselves.

I didn't find any major negative aspects in this book. The author could have elaborated more about these methods and her experiences. The cover of the book could be improved as I don't find it attractive.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I had an amazing reading experience and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The casual and simple language of the author made the book easy to read. The pictures added at every step took me into the situation Mary was in. I recommend this book for all age groups who believe in the voices of various entities. She has not only shared her own experience in the book, but also did some researches on every method and provided us the historical backgrounds of it. There is nothing I didn't enjoy in this novel from the page one.
