African Origins of the Bible by Jacob Jones is a non-fiction book that exposes the hidden role Africa and African people played in the Bible. This book also talks about the positive impact that Africa had on the Hebrew culture, the Bible and religious ideas. The author also explains some popular teachings and doctrines that originated in Africa. The author emphasized numerous great Africans. This book highlights famous African beliefs that have been important and familiar to the Hebrew community in some form.

I enjoyed reading this book because it was informative. I learned a lot about the origin of some concepts and teachings found in the Bible that I was ignorant of. The author did a great job of unraveling and explaining some African beliefs that had been influential on the Hebrew tradition. I also loved how the author used simple terms in explaining his findings. I was able to read and relate to this book with ease. I admired how the author was also able to refer to some Bible portions in explaining and demystifying the mystery surrounding the origin of some concepts in the Bible that originated from Africa. I also gained a lot from the questions and answers sections of the book that revealed important information about the Black Catechism.

However, there are some things I disliked about this book. I noticed that the texts in the book were not properly arranged. Some paragraphs were not properly aligned either. I also noticed the font size and styles used in this book varied; some did not follow a regular pattern. This often makes reading more difficult and confusing. Furthermore, I observed numerous typographical and grammatical errors while reading this book. I would suggest that this book be thoroughly edited.

This book was very educational and informative. I gained a lot of new information from it. However, I noticed a lot of typographical and grammatical errors that often made reading difficult and confusing. I also noticed that some of the texts were neither properly arranged nor evenly aligned. As a result, I would rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.

I would recommend this book to religious folks who would love to learn about the origin of some concepts in the Bible with African origins. This book also explains some teachings and religious practices in the Bible. Therefore, it would be suitable for religions that use the Bible as their reference point. I would also recommend this book to people who love reading about African history.

I love seeing books that dare to touch on subjects society only talks about in hushed tones. Truly the impact of African history and beliefs on Christianity has been swept under the carpet over the years. I'm happy this book brings it to light.
Thank you for this brilliant and engaging review. I enjoyed reading it.

Your review has sparked much curiosity for me. I'm eager to see how Africa and her beliefs have been of impact since the Bible days. It's a shame there are numerous errors but I will definitely check out this book.

Wow. This is a whole new angle to the very much disputed topic about Africa not being a part of man's history. I think this book should be read by all and sundry. A good one sir.

This book have some things in common with the book I just reviewed; relating Hebrew with Africa. I wish to know the submission by this author too.

The author had me at the title of the book. Biblical stories relating to Africans are not often written. I'm eager to discover more about this book. Thanks for the great review.

No lies. I opened this review mainly because of the title of the book. As an African, I would read this book with pride knowing that we played a role in Christianity. Good book.
